Built on one belief: teams do their best work when the room is well-led.
KA-BOM was born from a simple belief: when teams collaborate effectively, things move faster, energy grows, and real progress happens.
KA-BOM is a word from the Akan language meaning "together." It captures the energy, creativity, and magic that happen when people come together to solve problems and create something new.
Facilitation
Still unfamiliar to many organizations in Romania — but the need for better collaboration is not. We believe teams do their best work when conversations are clear, decisions are shared, and progress feels natural.
It's simple: help make this way of working the norm, so collaboration becomes easier and results follow.
Helping teams achieve results together through facilitation
What that looks like in practice:
Big decisions and shared strategies in days, not weeks.
Everyone who matters in the room, moving in the same direction.
Solutions built together—not pushed from the top down.
Teams leave energized, united, and ready to act.
Facilitation is a skill for the future
Not just for leaders. For anyone who works with others.
The future of work demands more than expertise. It requires the ability to listen, connect ideas, navigate different perspectives, and move people toward shared decisions.
Research on future skills—from organizations like the World Economic Forum—consistently points to capabilities such as:
These are exactly the muscles facilitation develops.
Because when people know how to work together, ideas don't stay stuck in conversations. They turn into progress.

Your Guide to Better Collaboration
-
After spending over 15 years in communications, PR, advertising, and branding—navigating diverse industries, management styles, and high-stakes challenges—Alina learned how to read people, understand team dynamics, and design strategies that truly work. Her EMBA from Maastricht School of Management added a strong business perspective, helping her bridge human-centered approaches with real-world organizational impact.
-
Eight years ago, facilitation came naturally to her. It brought together everything she had learned and aligned perfectly with her personality—empathetic, curious, playful, energetic, and deeply results-oriented.
During 5 years, as a partner at Design Thinking Society, Alina has led co-creation projects and trainings for leading organizations including Antibiotice SA, BCR, Bearing Point, Carrefour, Deloitte, EY, Google, HP, ING, Leroy Merlin, Lidl, OTP, Pall-Ex, and Raiffeisen Bank.
What truly fuels Alina is seeing teams move from uncertainty to clarity, achieve alignment, and feel energized while doing it. Helping people "see the light" on their challenges and co-create solutions is what makes her work meaningful.
-
Alina taught Design Thinking, Service Design, and Innovation at the Entrepreneurship Academy for six years. During this time, she also collaborated with FABIZ, actively contributing to the development of the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Today, she serves on the board of the International Association of Facilitators Romania (IAF) as VP of Partnerships, and as an Academic Board Expert at the European Institute for Sustainability, where she teaches "Designing for Sustainability." She also mentors founders at Founder Institute, the world's largest pre-seed startup accelerator.
-
"For me, facilitation is about more than processes or tools—it's about creating experiences where people feel seen, engaged, and empowered. When that happens, teams unlock collective intelligence, align quickly, and achieve meaningful results. And yes—they enjoy the journey along the way."
Ever since childhood, Alina has been a natural catalyst—someone who loves bringing people together, helping them shine, and celebrating what we can achieve as a team. She was always the cheerleader, the one who noticed strengths, encouraged participation, and made collaboration feel natural.
I work independently, but complex challenges sometimes call for specialist support. When that’s the case, I bring in trusted collaborators from my network: people I’ve worked with, vetted, and genuinely recommend. You always know who’s in the room and why.

5 values
we stand for
Collaboration & Co-creation
The best ideas emerge when everyone contributes. We create environments where diverse perspectives come together to build something better than any individual could create alone.
1
Clarity & Alignment
Everyone understands the goal and agrees on the path. We cut through ambiguity and create shared understanding that moves teams forward with confidence.
2
Speed & Efficiency
Results delivered fast, without wasted time. We design experiences that accomplish in days what might otherwise take weeks or months.
3
Empowerment
We don’t just facilitate the session — we leave your team more capable than we found them. Tools, confidence, and habits that outlast any single workshop.
4
Energy & Engagement
Alignment shouldn’t feel like hard work. We design every session to be engaging, focused, and — yes — actually enjoyable. Because energized teams produce better outcomes.
5
The Difference:
We don't believe facilitation should stay abstract or feel like corporate theater. It should be practical, energizing, and produce real results. That's why every session we design—whether it's a workshop, training program, or strategic conversation—focuses on creating tangible outcomes that teams can act on immediately.
We've seen what happens when teams are truly aligned and engaged. They move faster, make better decisions, and create solutions they're genuinely excited to implement. That's the KA-BOM effect—and it's available to every team willing to work together.
